Thing #5

I enjoyed using Flickr. Flickr has a lot of neat options available for printing your photos. They have several partner applications that allow you to create notecards, books, T-shirts and other gift items from your photos. I would like to scan in family photos and make a book for my family for Christmas if I can find the time.

Thing # 6

This was fun, I spent a lot of time playing with FlickR and trying out various projects with the photos on the Big Photo Lab site. I have previously used several photo hosting sites such as Walgreen's, Walmart and Creative Memories. I have made calendars, decks of cards and other projects on the sites. I enjoyed making a magazine cover using the program on the BIG HUGE LABS site. I think this could be fun to use for some class projects such as book reports. It is very easy to use compared to ones I have used previously. The trading card was really a cute idea too. I think it would be great to reward students with at the end of the year or report card time.
